Typing Unit

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
This week, students will be finishing up our unit on Internet Safety. Next week, we begin our unit on Keyboarding. Students in grades 2-5 will use Dance Mat Typing as a way to increase their typing skills. Kindergarten and First Grade will use typing games on ABCYA.com to improve their ability to locate keys on the keyboard. I ask that you encourage your students to practice typing. Keyboarding and typing are a huge part of communication and being able to do so correctly and effectively will benefit them from here on out.
